How To Get The Most From Your Personal Training Sessions With Kevin Yates
Now that you’re ready to commit to training with Kevin Yates there are a few important tips to get the most out of your personal training sessions and achieve your fitness goals faster while having fun along the way:
- Be 100% Clear On Why You’re Here- When you know exactly what it is that you want to achieve both in the long-term and from each personal training session you will get so much more from your experience. Be 100% clear in advance on what you want from me so I can know how to best coach you and you’ll achieve your goals faster.
- Show Up On Time & Ready For Your Session- There’s lots to do during your training sessions and the proper allocation of time is necessary to get it all done.
Take each session seriously by showing up well on time (a few minutes early is even better) and ready for your session and you’ll get so much more from your session.
- Be Willing To Challenge Yourself- If you do what you’ve always done you’ll get what you’ve always got. You’ve heard that before right?
The same is true when it comes to getting the results you want from your fitness program. That’s why I’ll ask you to step outside of your comfort zone (quite often) and challenge yourself.
You’ll be asked to change your diet (yes, nutrition is part of the deal), your lifestyle and even your thinking as you work toward achieving your goal.
I know it’s not easy but to be completely honest what you’ve been doing up to now has not been working. If it were you wouldn’t need a fitness coach. Clinging to your old ways of doing things isn’t going to work. It’s time for change.
All I ask is that you be willing to challenge yourself, step out of your comfort zone and be willing to try something different and you’ll see how quick it will pay off.
- Give Honest Feedback- During the course of your personal training sessions I need you to tell me what’s working for you and what’s not so I can coach you better.
After all, you came here with a specific goal in mind right?
Well, it’s my job to help you achieve it. Give me your honest feedback so I can coach you as effectively as possible.
- Plan To Achieve- There’s a saying that goes like this ‘Failing to plan is planning to fail”. If you really expect to achieve your fitness goals you’ll need to put a plan in place.
Be sure to plan your lifestyle around your diet and training sessions (this goes for your ‘homework’ sessions too) and not the other way around.
I take coaching very seriously and I’m committed to making sure each of my clients achieves their goals. My purpose and passion as your fitness coach is to help you become an achiever and I will not take part in anything that makes you a non-achiever.
I expect the same mindset from you
Fair enough?
